Tiarne Perkiss is a celebrated dog grooming expert and the founder of Perky Pooches Grooming Salon and the Elite Dog Grooming Academy. With over a decade of experience, her salon has become a beacon of excellence, setting industry standards and mentoring aspiring groomers.

Tiarne’s grooming journey began at age 12 in her parents' garage, inspired by her love for English Springer Spaniels and her Cavalier, Jessie. She refined her craft internationally, excelling in Poodle, Cavalier, and Springer Spaniel grooming. Her talent has earned her numerous Best In Show awards and spots on Groom Team Australia and other prestigious teams.

A passionate educator, Tiarne launched the Elite Dog Grooming Academy in 2021, offering Certificate III in Pet Grooming and supporting groomers’ entrepreneurial goals. Her qualifications include a Certificate IV in Pet Grooming and a Pet Tech First Aid Certificate.

Tiarne has been recognised as a finalist for Young Business Woman of the Year and Runner Up for Best New Business. Her dedication to both education and excellence continues to inspire groomers and evolve the industry.
