  • Once subscribed, business owners get backend access to their own igroomschool training space. From there, you can enrol staff into courses as needed, whether they’re new, developing confidence, or refining advanced skills. Learning happens online, at your team’s pace, reducing the need for constant hands-on teaching while skills improve from the inside out. 

  • Staff complete their theory alongside hands-on work, allowing skills to build gradually without taking them off the job. You can enrol team members as needed, move them through blocks at your own pace, and standardise training across the business without locking everyone into the same timeline.

  • Each block also includes optional workbooks. These can be used if you want to add more structure to training, support practical exercises, or encourage staff to reflect on what they’re learning on the job. They’re there to support hands-on learning, not replace it.

Which courses are available to B2B subscribers?

Our theoretical education Blocks are all yours to train staff of all levels with!
These theory Blocks are the same core learning used within igroomschool’s Industry Certification pathway, delivered without the practical assessments so businesses can train staff flexibly on the job.

Can I look through the courses myself?

Yes. Once subscribed, many business owners enrol themselves using a seat to review the content, then reassign that seat to staff when ready. Prior to subscribing, the full curriculum for each Theory Block is available to view on the individual course pages.

What are some examples of how I can use this subscription?

1. New Bather: You've hired a bather who's enthusiastic but lacks formal training. Blocks 1 and 2 are ideal to build her foundational skills.

2. Junior Groomer: You've got a junior groomer with solid skills but no time to guide them further. Blocks 4 and 5 can help them grow independently and sharpen their expertise.

3. Front Desk Staff: A new receptionist with animal experience but little grooming knowledge has joined. Block 1 will introduce them to grooming terminology and give them valuable insights into the industry.

4. New Business Owner: If you've just taken over a grooming business and aren't a groomer yourself, you may feel uncertain about the team's skill level and safety practices. Consider starting the whole team on Block 1. Bathers can then move on to Block 2, junior groomers to Blocks 2, and 3, and senior staff can advance to Block 4 or 5.

These blocks can be used flexibly to suit your team’s needs, and the possibilities are endless!

Are certificates issued?

Yes, certificates are issued to successful students. The theoretical assessments are rigorous, and successful students receive a Theoretical Qualification certificate from igroomschool for each Block they complete. Australian students receive a printed certificate, while international students receive a digital version.

Is there any practical training or assessment involved?

Not for the Theory Blocks. These Blocks are here to support practical learning on the job. 

What materials and resources will students need?

To complete the online theory blocks, students will need a reliable internet connection to access the course materials, including video tutorials and interactive lessons. A computer, tablet, or smartphone is required for accessing the platform. While learning practical skills on the job, students are encouraged to use downloadable resources, such as e-books, checklists, and study guides, to reinforce their understanding. It is also helpful to have access to grooming tools for hands-on practice and real-world application of the theory.

How long does each course last?

The maximum amount of time the Blocks are available is as follows:

  • Theory Blocks 1, 2 and 3 are each available for 12 weeks
  • Blocks 4 and 5 are available for 18 weeks each


This should be ample time to complete the Blocks if the student is devoting a few hours per week to study. See individual Block pages for estimated time to complete.
