  • The difference between “pick” and “sculpted” breeds and why Norwich Terriers require a layered approach to maintain their cobby shape
  • Proper techniques for using a stone or stripping knife to remove only the top layer, promoting new growth without damaging the undercoat
  • Step-by-step guidance for blending the coat for a smooth transition from the top line through the underline and sides to achieve a balanced, cobby appearance
  • Tips for maintaining a seamless neck-to-wither transition and avoiding blown coats in show grooming
  • How to shape and maintain the breed’s distinct rounded head without overemphasising the eyes or creating an unnatural look
  • Techniques for trimming the carrot-shaped tail and creating well-formed, cat-like feet to keep the Norwich’s sturdy yet compact look
  • Guidelines for proper ear trimming, focusing on keeping ears small and well-shaped with a naturally rounded top skull
